24/7, My roommate plays CS:GO. 24/7, the incessant clicking noises of his keyboard fills my thoughts. 24/7 I CAN'T FUCKING CONCENTRATE.

THE SHITBAG GETS PISSY AND UPSET WHEN I COMPLAIN ABOUT HIM AND TRIES TO DEFEND BEING A SHITBAG BY SHITTING ALL OVER ME.

HIS FRIENDS THAT HE CONSTANTLY MINGLES WITH ARE SHITBAG 18-YEAR-OLDS WHO ACT LIKE 12-YEAR-OLDS AND MAKE FUN OF ME FOR BEING A MIDDLE-EASTERNER.

ISIS JOKES ARE NOT FUNNY. (Just to be clear it was his frineds on a Skype call, not him)

I might just take this to my RA.

Sorry again, but I sort of feel better doing that.

Roommate issues suck. There's no escape if you have a bad one.

I remember when I was in college though that there was a fundamental rule that everyone has the right to sleep and study. Sounds like he might be infringing on those 2 rights. As well as you know, making racist jokes.

I ended up getting a single for my last 2 years because I needed to be able to study when I wanted to, not when my roommate was willing to shut up/shut off TV (my tv no less). It was worth the money and drastically improved my GPA

I have actually had a worse roommate than that, but since we're not playing roommate oneupmanship, I won't go into personality details. Suffice to say, however, that his overuse of Axe combined with excessive greasiness was sufficient that he'd have been a prime candidate for a spontaneous human combustion hoax. Like... don't smoke around the guy.

Depending on the laws in your state you could use your phone to surreptitiously record them. Then you'll have evidence instead of hearsay. That way in case your RA sucks you can go above him. That kind of stuff isn't generally tolerated. I knew someone who had such a crappy roommate he got to move out of his room and into another. The new roommate left after the first semester so he had the tiny room all too himself. Everyone was jealous.

I had a shitty roommate freshman year. HE would play Madden NFL or some shit all day all night. There was one day i was having a particularly shitty day and can back to the room to some BS and I just went OFF. A lot of his crap stopped after that. so that one option.

If they want to joke about ISIS you could have a black mask on and hand them orange jump suits and tell them to put them on the next time they come into the room

just go to your RA thats the smartest, not going to get you arrested thing to do

Damn, he sounds like a total dickhead. Is this a college roommate situation? If so, then you might be stuck till the end of the semester (which is pretty soon I imagine) but definitely GTFO as soon as you can. I'd definitely let your RA know too, hopefully they can do something about it.

If we were to do roommate one-up-manship, I walked in on a roommate cutting up dime bags of weed because he and another roommate were dealing when my career goal is policing. Oddly enough that was in the summer after I graduated when my lease went till the end of August.
